The app is designed to help dog owners feel close to their dogs, even when they’re far away. It allows owners to track their dog’s day while they’re staying at a hotel or kennel, giving them real peace of mind that their dog is in good hands. This way, dog owners can truly enjoy their trip without worrying too much about their pets.

In the exploration phase, i conducted user interviews and competitor research to understand the primary concerns and expectations of dog owners when sending their pets to boarding facilities.
Define
During the define phase, I identified dog owner's need for real-time updates and transparency. Concerns over visibility in traditional boarding led to prioritizing features like live streaming and live chat to keep the trust and connection.
Design
In the design phase, I turned user insights into prototypes, emphasizing features like live streaming, daily updates, and in-app chat. The focus was on creating an intuitive interface that promoted real-time communication and transparency.

The main challenge in Royal Paws was building trust and emotional connection between dog owners and the care providers looking after their pets while they’re away. Many pet owners feel anxious about leaving their dogs in someone else's care — they worry if their dog is happy, safe, being fed on time, getting enough attention, or feeling lonely.
